The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
Absolute amazing blend of various styles. Thy Catafalque return with a hard-banging progressive Metal trip. Superb synths, catchy riffs, lovely vocals. 5 out of 5 <3 nomaster
I love the way you mix genres, styles, instruments...so beautifully composed, I haven't found many reasons to really like electronic/experimental music until discovering Thy Catafalque and the way you blend it magically into metal- it's perfect. karenigma
The Philadelphia group draw on the playfulness of prog rock as you’d expect from a group who’ve labelled their style as “metal for astronauts.” Bandcamp Album of the Day Sep 11, 2017
The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
